They Hate Me For Speaking The Truth Poem by Matt Starking

They Hate Me For Speaking The Truth

They hate me for speaking the truth,
For daring to show them the proof.
I'm silenced, my voice is suppressed,
Ignored, dismissed and oppressed.

I speak the truth, I speak my mind,
But somehow I keep falling behind.
Their lies are louder, their words are strong,
But I won't give up, I'll carry on.

They hate me for shedding light,
For exposing their wrongs and making them right.
They try to silence me with their hate,
But truth is stronger, it's not too late.

I'll keep speaking, I'll keep fighting,
With every word, with every writing.
I won't be silenced, I won't hide,
I'll keep speaking the truth with pride.
