They Gave Away His Hard Earned Pay Poem by Royston Nella

They Gave Away His Hard Earned Pay

It matters not how much he's got
it's not enough and he wants more stuff.
Unsatisfied, so harder he tried
acting so rash to get more cash.
An awful toll, he'd sold his soul
and when he died so unsatisfied
they gave away his hard earned pay.
