Poem - They Could Write Poems About You.

They could write poems about you,
Or even the lyrics to a song.
Telling of your beauty and your loveliness,
But these are just words that are meant to impress.

They don't know the real you, the way that I do,
You are all these things and much more.
I really don't know where to start,
Perhaps I'll begin, by consulting my heart.

Your kindness, generosity and sincerity,
Are worth more to me than all the gold stored in Fort Knox.
Then there's the magic of your touch,
That I always love so much.

I could go on, there's so much more to tell,
But some may think that I exaggerate.
Somethings are meant to be private,
My lips are sealed, I'm sure you'll understand,
I do so at the request, of true love's command.
