They Are Out Of Sight! ! ! Poem by G. Akanji Olaniyi

They are out of sight, now
They are gone with old and past year
Sadness, grief, misfortune, poverty, failure
Bad luck, hard luck, hatred, losses and all the negativeness
All gone with the expired year
They became so unbearable and unwanted
They presence was irritating
All they had to do was to leave
It came to their awareness that they had long over stayed their welcome
They sneaked away unknowingly
We just found out that they were all missing
Their houses became vacant and inhabited
Now, as well, the positives are now in sight
Happiness, good luck, success, promotions, gains
progress, profits, friendliness and many others
They just took over the vacant apartments
And have been quickly adsorbed into our midst
They arrived with the very new year! ! !
They are welcome and we wish them a long lasting stay! ! !
