These Old Poems Poem by DM W

These Old Poems

Rating: 5.0

These old poems are constituted of hard bones.
They have endured throughout the troubled centuries.
They are solemn and profound, yet not harsh in tone.
They still seem fresh like the lightning flash of bold dreams.

Just got to love your opening gambit first line with that glorious reference to hard bones, just to set the tone then hit the ground running. then Dominic another superb closing line to wrap thing up. And so cleverly and neatly too. I enjoyed reading your fine poem about old poems of which I am an avid reader. Thanks for sharing Dominic and a full score and also added to my favourites. Take care.
