These new seeds now bleed
Like wounded, estranged Christ in
Memory's fragments
Of a bone like Calvary.
These relics cannot
Redeem troubled centuries
Of endless conflict.
These remnants of profound dreams
Fade before my eyes.
Drunken lexicons
Pervade our crude consciousness.
Parasites proliferate,
Across all channels,
In year twenty twenty one.
Images airbrushed,
But I still perceive the scars.
Insect imposters
Are now spreading their vile germs.
Crumbling human realms
Are infected by this filth.
Time is receding
Like a junkie or a whore.
