These Knees Poem by S.M. Riggin

oh if i had the knees of a athlete
I'll tell you what i would do.
i would jump around all day
till everyone did it too!

If my knees worked
i would run and run
people would think I'm crazy
but i would have Fun!

Soccer my favorite sport.
i would kick the ball
and chase it too!
I wouldnt feel it at all!

but with these Knees
i can not do the things that i desire
running jumping playing are off limits
oh how i wish i could not tire.

but with these knees
i can still walk
so if i can't be thankful
i should not talk.
