Phil, Great poem. I particularly like the bit about your walks having more meaning nowadays and I am sure your dogs understand how happy they make you. I am reading James Herriot's Dog collection of stories at the moment and his introduction to the book is one of the finest summaries of why we love dogs that I have ever read. Would you like to read my poem 'Dogs' which totally concurs with your sentiments. Thanks. Paul

a wonderful poem of a man and his best friends still having all be it slow fun, just don't get to excited with them though because the next day you and them will be as stiff as a stale bun? ......................written with much love well done Phil.
