These Castle Walls Poem by Benjamin Chiu Uy

These Castle Walls

These Castle Walls

You are an opera singer, man in love, giving your hearts contents to a beautiful world,

The earth is a lovelyshowroom, a downtown city, a stroll maybe with a best friend or a new girl acquaiuntance and maybe with a dog on the leash

It may just be a forlorn crime scene, a mayhem disaster movie,
where victims and the criminals are being rounded up or carried in stretchers and ambulances by the medics,
And the police patrol mobiles,

Sometimes you are just a plain hermit, an intense fiction writer, or a poet hiding in your closets,

It doesn't come with corners or dimensions,
in lumnia ultimate, in clear panaromic vistas,
To see a heaven or a hell hole,

These are the castle walls to hide a dedicated man, a dreamer withhis writings,

I am always inspired and thankfull for your support on my poems, It is in great seclusion and isolation that we can contemplate and come up with something memorable, thank you very much to another esteemed poet
