These Are Tears Of Happiness Poem by Hebert Logerie

These Are Tears Of Happiness

I was thinking, pondering, and then abruptly tears of happiness
Tenderly painted the apparent scars of my intoxicated smile.
I wanted to howl with jubilation sending you gorgeous flowers,
To relax and charm you, all night long, with bursts of laughter.

I wept for a yesteryear which won't come back, for a future
As beautiful as spring, for a hope which will scintillate forever.
I am upbeat and positive, though my back is glued at the wall.
Yet, tears of glee will stream on and on in serenity and in peace.
