I always wonder too about the despair of disknowledge and why it is so prevalent. Going to college did nothing to dispel it from my mind, no one understands its existence in our lives. Racing and crossing shadows is great fun, try it sometime. All in all I enjoyed reading this poem, excellent imagery, brings thoughts running as I read it. Actually read it three times, I like it's essence. Keep on writing, you are a very interesting poet. Thank you for sharing with me. RoseAnn
