There's Hurt Poem by Gary James Smith

There's Hurt

There's Hurt

There's hurt and then there's deep hurt
Jesus had the latter of the two
For our Creator to watch His creation
To reject Him as they do
The One and only originator of love
Who gave it forth so lavishly
And then having to watch it be mistreated as such
Is beyond imagination to me

Sin can bring a callousness
And harden any heart
It can make any darkness darker
As it finds its hiding spot
Amen there's a Light for this old world
Praise God for Christ the Son
Who operates wholly out of His love
Extending grace to everyone

Hallelujah for sin's healing balm
That can heal the deepest pain
That can take any man's sin nature
And help him to be born again
O Holy Spirit bring it on
May each lost soul see their need
To see creation worship their Creator
Would be a blessed amen indeed!

Hallelujah what a Saviour!
