There's A Tusami Poem by Gary James Smith

There's A Tusami

There's A Tusami

There's a tusami wave of emotions
That comes over our heart's at death
The would a...could a..should a's
While they had their living breath
And all the things that might have been
If only we could have been there
We have to take them to the Lord
And consign ourselves to prayer

Prayer can never bring them back
But it's a solace in our distress
We take that burden to the Lord
And worship in quietness
For there is not a deeper hurt
Than to lose a blessed loved one
God knowing that very hurt Himself
In the death of His own dear Son

But the grave it is our Victory
And death is just a word
It holds us captive temporarily
But then God's voice is heard
Lazarus come forth!
And come forth Lazarus did
And we too shall arise one day
Praise God our Resurrection did!
