There's A Treasure

There's a treasure to be found
In the searching of the Scriptures
God's Word leaves a trail of truth
It will lead you to...
An old rugged Cross
And to that One who only was Good

There"s nuggets of wisdom
To fnd along the way
To turn you from the darkness into light
And a heapful of hope
To lead you to that home
Where you'll never again experience night

When death our sure enemy
Rears its ugly head
Our eyes are pointed to a new direction
Where our lifted up Savipur
The Lord Jesus Christ
Will soon become our Life and Resurrection

His Word our security
For it shall forever stand
God inspired assurance to our soul
A Rock solid faith
Based upon its truth
The believing of which will trulymake you whole

Pray for a desire to read them
Have a hunger and thirst for righteousness
A satisfaction for the soul is guaranteed
Search the Scriptures and you will find Him
That fine Rose of Sharon
In finding Him you'll find a Friend indeed!
