There's A Thoroughness

There's a thoroughness to God's forgiveness
For He washes white as snow
Every sin that's ever haunted you
He can remove that stain also
And the life that He now provides
I can live it most abundantly
For it's Christ in me the hope of glory
Hallelujah I've been set free

Not just a pleasant memory
But day to day I enjoy
The presence of my Saviour now
Who guides me along life's way
And prayer is such an adventure
For faith is my new lifestyle
So glad I trusted in Jesus Christ
For He's put on my face a smile

I know not what tomorrow may hold
But I trust Him from day to day
He's always showed up when I needed Him most
His grace has been sufficient alway
What a strong arm is my Lord
I've felt His loving grip
He's held me up when I've been weak
He's never let me slip

His hands were nailed there for my sin
His feet were nailed as well
His side was pierced on top of that
The deliverance cost from Hell
And God Almighty as God the Son
Partook of the brunt of our sin
There's a thoroughness to God's forgiveness
Come and find your rescue in Him!

Hallelujah what a Saviour!
