There's A Big Storm On The Way. Poem by Ross Mabey

There's A Big Storm On The Way.

Poem - There's a Big Storm on the Way.

By - Ross Mabey.

There's an electric tension in the air,
There's a nervous energy that's everywhere.
The distant, thunder and lightning are trying to say,
That there's a big storm on the way.

The clouds are like fiery castles in the sky,
They are starting to roar, rumble and sigh.
Soon there'll be the driving wind and heavy rain,
And old Mother Earth can quench her thirst again.

There's another kind of storm brewing, one of discontent,
Venting anger, at more recent Earthly events.
Let's hope that common sense will prevail,
And through this storm, to smooth waters we will sail.
