There Is Music In The Air Poem by Anil Kumar Panda

There Is Music In The Air

There is music in the air
As raindrops fall across the
Valleys, meadows, streets and plains
Falling and shining in
Swift torrents they joyfully
Roll on releasing many sweet refrains

There is music in the air
As dark clouds slowly gather
Across the sky to swell and sing
Washed with flashes of
Light raindrops hang on to
Leaves and grasses and merrily swing

There is music in the air
As streams, runnels, and rivers
Are full to their brims and swiftly flow
Lotus and lily bloom in
The ponds and it is the time
For the farmers to till the fields and sow

Such a pleasant, musical and soothing poem, filled with extraordinary images and sounds. A pleasure to read, calming, the sadder and bitter sounds around, today. Thank you.
