There is a reason i am not sad
Though i live with a moody person
I am not sad because it's not bad

There is a reason i am not sad
He goes through all states of mind
I can handle it without going mad

I am not sad because it's not bad
He no longer obssesses about death,
the scriptures and verses only a tad

There is a reason i am not sad
With combinations of drugs he takes
it becomes a non event just a fad

I am not sad because it's not bad
It's amazing the level of intelligence,
memory as sharp as a young lad

He no longer wears a special badge
No more thoughts of helplessness
I am not sad because it's not bad
