There Is A Place Called Our Home Poem by Dr Anthony Onoja

There Is A Place Called Our Home

Throne they say are forged by wars
Wars for price of peace to pay
Land where two rivers flow it course
How be it you became the giant of Africa?
Your heroes all lies in nights of defeat
Murdered by trolls of war and hate for tribes
When will all these madness end?
who indeed shall save the sons of Africa?
Indeed there is a better place where
home long await us, away from dust and fire
Land where we live to path no more
A place where our color does not become our cross
a home with stillness and love
some little column in the cloud
lies our eternal home to rest
come JESUS, come! ! , come save our souls
