There Is A Mad Man, Inside Me Poem by abu tarek md tahsin

There Is A Mad Man, Inside Me

I don't let him out

He never raves or shouts
Or Kicks doors
Or breaks windows

But
It sings of sunny summers
And bright blue skies
Of cool autumn breeze
And snow-capped mountains

And
During the stillness of the night
It dances to hymns

There is a mad man
Inside me
I don't let him out

I let him have coffee and cigarettes
And buy him tequila and chocolates

And let him be
