I realize with a jolt, how much I have missed and how much more I will miss! Forget what you have missed hold fast what you have got. A beautiful poem.
Let us all try to enjoy the simple things in life. For when we do this that is when we experience true joy. The setting of the Sun, a rainbow in the sky, trees shedding their leaves, birds flying all around, waves lapping at the seashore. So many things to relax and dwell upon. Even reminiscing about the past and telling stories of events that happened that is still etched within our minds. Live the life you love, love the life you live. An excellent write.
Then -Now- a wonderful presentation of the days gone by and the present situation. That you are able to recall the old shows they are still imprinted in your mind but you feel for the freshness gone, perhaps.A FABULOUS WRITE, VALSA!
Very well written, nostalgic as Mr. Dinesh views it. Some forty years ago I also wrote a poem with same title, but how different was my perspective on what I saw. You may like to see.
First of all let me 'confess' that I saw a rainbow just one week ago! I forgot to close my eyes even! Let us rejoice at the glory of the past and live like this in perpetual recollections.. Probably a few more are still around us not missing the essence of the life of the kind.. Nostalgia reincarnate again! Madam Valsa, kudos to you for the brilliant coherence of images invited.

Beautiful poem. Life remind us of the beauties we missed in our life.....Each sentence beautifully portrayed..Loved reading it.
Life is not the same always. It keeps changing. Responsibilities and burdens of life take their toll. Age keeps adding up. What was bright then is now dim. Changes nicely expressed in the beautiful poem. Thank you.
a reminder to all those who haste and miss the beauties scattered around!
Certain things are not valued until their dearth plagues us. As always, the nature evinced in the poetry is intricate and beautiful. I like how you always associate " amber" with " gold" , and the way you began the poem.
