Then, as now, I will always love you
Then, as now, I will always honour and obey you
Then, as now, the stars will always shine
And also, our hearts will align
And dine
Then, as now, we will always find tumultuous courage
Then, as now, our love will always find lodgings
beneath the bridal veil of the moon
Then, as now, the sun will always jealously burn
Then, as now, I will always be an object like a caged bird
Happy to remain in lodgings as long as you wish.
As long as you devoutly love me with equal devotion.
And dine equally well on an empty dish.
Then, as now, I will always love you.
