Their Eyes Poem by DM W

Their Eyes

O their eyes perceive no beatific visions.
For they're firmly focused on more mundane affairs
O their eyes no longer perceive subtle beauty.
For they are now preoccupied with other things.
O their eyes no longer seem to be able to
Distinguish between light and dark. For they are so
Often distracted by trivial matters and
Senseless, futile quests. O their eyes are now half- blind.
