seeing you out of the corner of my eye
gnashing your teeth
looking halfway shy
i know i saw you before

can't place where
maybe in that bar
or that night under the stars
are you following me

should i speak
peering at thee
making not a peep
only can i see your thoughts


the smoke clears
you disappear
once again
this hs been
