The Yellow Half Moon Poem by Puja Chakraborty

The Yellow Half Moon

The yellow half-moon rises very soon,
One little girl, who's waiting for you,
Sinks in delight by the ray of you,
Your beautiful smile, your brightness, is very lovely.

The girl loves the moon so heartily.
In bustling life, she's always following you.
She has nothing without you.
In her world, she loves you so dear,
But you can't think of her, though she's always near.

She can't grasp how far away you are,
Living with the stars in the sky so far.
So she wants to reach you by flying high,
To be with the moon, her love, in the evening sky.
