written on the holy deeds of Jesus Christ/// yeah every greatest human spent life for the redemption of the world dwellers ///
some favorite lines: Brutally suspended between Earth and Sky, Stationed amid thieves on either side and ======================== sorry; as a former-believer, let me say: it was His Father's will that He suffer and die. but, unlike me (supposedly) and billions of others who, according to the Christian churches, will not rise up to a glorious Heaven, but, INSTEAD, be sent to everlasting damnation in Hell, maybe with a stopover in Purgatory, Jesus supposedly now sits alongside God the Father, i imagine in comfort for the rest of Eternity. but, back to the poem, folks. ================================ stanza 8: Unruffled remained He, on painfully betrayed................on painfully? ? and Too hard and Too sore? i don't recall that from my church days. Deprived of even the lowliest of means, ..........though i don't remember the Bible story completely, i did get the feeling that Jesus had parents, the parents took care of Him, His dad had a job, He had a bed to lie in as a babe, He had clothing, and he must have had food and water. i'm not sure what means means. Peace was what He promised the world, .............i'm not wasting my time waiting for Peace to happen, despite the X-mas song about Peace On Earth, Good Will To Men. i wish people well, no matter what their religion is or isn't! being 'religious' can bring people benefits of course, but i just don't buy into it anymore. keep up the good writing (or painting) , Valsa. did not proofread; my mate is calling me to go for a drive. to MyPoemList. bri :)
nice poem....of redeeming faith in this almost atheist world...
A heart touching poem so nicely envisioned and beautifully depicted. Thanks for sharing....10
The best poem I have ever read for the Holy Christ. I have seen the movie, Last Temptations of the Christ, the heart touching scenes were recollected. An impressive and heart touching poem.
Beautifully written explaining the price paid for sinners' salvation. The last verse: 'Look at the Cross and cast your burden at His feet' sum up the reason for His death.
I love it, it's beautiful, you should post it on my blog. betterthingsbegin.com
Peace was what He promised the world, Grace was what He gifted to all, Look up to the Cross, when trials confront, And cast your burden at His feet! ....... impressive concluding which says much about Jesus Christ, the son of the God. It is a great tribute to him. Beautifully executed. five stars.
