A great poem here I read and the devotional aspects felt in mind.
Jesus Christ is an epitome of selfless sacrifice and this aspect has been brought out powerfully in this wonderful poem.
an excellent poem Mam...no words can better describe the sacrifice by The Lord - am speechless
This poem is a master piece, truly there are some of us that love the Lord, even people like you and me, To lead His flock, He walked in front Oh, what a Christ! Well done, Valsa!
poetry really touch the soul of life, divine bless and a breeze of solace Born in a manger in an alien land, Born so poor, to parents of humble means, Deprived of even the lowliest of means, His life, a bitter paradox – King of Kings!
An amazing poem on the eve of Easter, Valsa. Happy EASTER to you!
But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. Amen.
Peace was what He promised the world. Grace was what He gifted to all. Great poem. Wish you a happy Easter dear Valsa.
Beautiful poem that invoke readers to surrender and submission to the Divine (10) . If I am not thought self-advertising, I have an altogether different understanding of Christ's 'suffering' on the Cross. Of course, I have looked at it from the point of view of Vedanta, where a sage sees only Himself (Consciousness) in both pain and pleasure. If you have time, kindly read my very short poem Jesus On The Cross.
It was for our sins that He lay down His life, It was our misdeeds that made Him bleed On this day - Friday - Good Friday, we remember the pain he suffered. Great poem posted timely.
Peace was what He promised the world, Grace was what He gifted to all, Look up to the Cross, when trials confront, And cast your burden at His feet! A lovely poem............10
