The Wuhan Contagions 2019

Sometimes life barely exists,
on thisgrey planet,
unsettlings news from the nightmarish city of Wuhan,
where contagions are spreading like wild fires around the world,

where a corona virus is spreading death volumes,
causing the failures of organs and respiratory seizures
for themillions,

tied to grim tides of your anticipatoryheart,
the scenes like Black Plague of the Middle Ages,

the kilowatt minutes and hours of mortalities like judgement day's coming,
the nCOV, the SARS, ébolas, and a waiting list of the sourced illness to test our resolves panic prone siblings and uneasing concerns,

The virus came from man's carnivorous appetites of
the bat species,
this ingenious appetite for its meat protein and its exotic flesh,

on dinner tables and special occasions,
gluttony and insatiableignorance and nature's revenge,

opened a Pandora's box of deadly pandemics,
doomed maybe the numbers of excess sorrows,
they never anticipated,

Crowned for the executions of men,
this peculiar fatality from the unfound contagions,

Desease coming from the man's carnivorous appetites. Very nicely put.
