A poet has exclaimed, it is not I who writes the poems, it is my pen. I just hold it. So, just hold your pen and dont worry. Your pen take you through your poems. All the best.

out of stock? i thought it was some Indian saying about not being able to come up with a new idea for a topic. but it sounds like some readers think it refers to book sellers not having any of your writings left in their stock to sell. and so long since i last heard a knock i thought (and still think) refers to, again, being out of writing ideas. could i be wrong? or could it be that publishers are not 'knocking at your door', as you have nothing new to offer them? i assume you mean joke, as you wrote joke, but i would rather hear jock [a better rhyme]. but if you use jock you might have to write about an athlete, and athletic supporter [as in a personal piece of clothing! ], a man named Jock, a (horse-riding) jockey, or a disc jockey. hmmm? why is insanity a listed topic, i wonder. bri nice poem. :)

Detect a slight sense of humor beneath these lines, enjoyed how you explained writer's block being out of print and out of stock, pretty much would describe it I think. Never have had this problem myself, words just continually flow, I have to read how others depict writer's block for I've had no experience with it. This is a great poem, short, sweet and precisely to the point. Very enjoyable reading! Thank you for sharing. RoseAnn

The writer's block you experience now may be temporary.... but still you can be proud that once you were a much sought after writer! Bless your readers with revised editions!

It is tragic for a writer when he goes out of gas, but going out of stock tells you that you are much sought after.. :)
