A sad but very true poem. Your words reflect much of what existes in the world today. Our world is often a cold cuel place, filled with to many people who think to much of themselves, and not enough for others. There is still much beauty and peace in the world, but it becomes harder to see with the growing darkness that is spreading, eating our 'glittering sun.' I try to spend at least part of every day seeing the beauty that still exists. Darla :)

The present world is what you write very well...I've lived thru world war 2 when mans madness was at its height with 50 million plus dead...since then a war somewhere has erupted the rest of the world is a holiday camp...regards kanav

A hardhitting poem on tday's selfish cruel world. The 3rd stanza was esp admirable, which ends with gun n swords. Lets hope 2o14 people learn to luv not hate.
