The World Is A Good Place Poem by kai kaiser

The World Is A Good Place

I think the world is a good place
but I don't know where to look
I've wondered into smoke filled allys
I've let my lungs fill with hate
I've swam in pools full of privlage
That made mu life so prestigous I forgot my past

The world was a good place
I don't know where else to look
I'm almost a homeless man
nobody has any kindness to spare
I'm stuck at the bar 'listening' to another veteran bore-story
I have become the naborhood drunk
Tryin' to give advice to future adults
So I say to any kid who will listen

The world is a great place
if you know where to look
Stray away from smoke filled allys
that fill your lungs with hate
Avoid swimming in pools full of privlage
that make life so prestigous you forget your past
