The Woody Way - Lincoln Park Zoo Poem by Ima Ryma

The Woody Way - Lincoln Park Zoo

Rating: 3.0

All stretched out on wood, Woody is
A Jamaican iguana who
Is good at minding his own biz
Here at home in Lincoln Park Zoo.
As human visitors stop by,
On his tree limb Woody holds court,
Just hanging out, one mellow guy,
Taking all in, a laid back sort.
Of course should a keeper appear,
Bringing salad for Woody's lunch,
Woody then gets himself in gear
And does accelerate a bunch.

Woody's routine most of his day
Is spent in a lounge lizard way.
