The Wonder Of Self-Emptying Poem by Fred Rik Kesner

The Wonder Of Self-Emptying

To empty is not to vanish.
It is to pour the vessel
until the air itself
becomes a listener.

What remains is not absence
but a widening —
a room where another voice
may enter and be heard.
