This poem speaks of a person moving forward from a broken relationship from a special person (in a sea of pastel people... There YOU were... Different from the rest) ... More than being about the other person, thecwritecrealky focuses on the capacities of the speaker to move forward in a healthy positive manner, by not wallowing in regret, and by accepting friendship and a 'new' relationship.
