The Withering Of Nostalgia Poem by Cui Gya

The Withering Of Nostalgia

The world is changing so fast
It 's so fast that I passively lost my memory
I can't remember the facilities on the playground of my elementary school when I was 8 years old..
I can't remember the size of the classrooms in my middle school when I was 14 years old.
I can't remember the mezzanine room and how many steps of staircase there were in my childhood's home.
I can't even remember where my grandmother got water.
They ‘v all disappeared physically
In the last 20 years of the real estate boom
The street is no longer the same street
The lane is no longer the same lane
Today, everything around is new
This is not an ancient city
People are not good at maintaining the old
Hundred-year-old buildings are rare
Demolish old buildings, demolish the old
The exclusive prosperity of the construction industry
Bringing countless nostalgia to wither year by year
I get zero memory
