The Wish Poem by Dave Dullum

I wish that I hadn't missed so many opportunities to know Jesus Christ;
I wish that I had done things right;
I wish that I had known God's love years ago;
And I wish the I had humbled myself before thee and had been cleansed anew.
Looking back on my life I wish that I had followed God's teachings, and believed that Jesus died upon the cross for me and you;
The Wish I most want to see is the one in which I see the Trinity,
