My arms pull up around your neck
And I search your eyes for your soul
Mine touch your heart and a smile appears
How could something so simple be so real?
My heart flutters like a bird in spring
My mind races on how my heart feels
A mixture of emotions but one stands out the most
The one that makes me forget everything
For just a moment while I’m sitting next to you
Watching you sleep and seeing your clam
Makes my heart skip a beat
To see what really dose belong to me
How could something start out so bazaar
And end up with a cluster of emotions
Fear tends to tug at my heart
When I think of the feature or what it will bring
I know if fate is with us, we’ll make it through
Because I’ve gone this fair, why not further
Time can only tell how long we will last
My heart hopes for the best
For when you came into my world
My heart was badly broken
Still chained to fear and panic
Scared by the pain that others caused
It was a bumpy start and I barley let you in
But some how you grew on me
My affections for you were real
And my heart truly yearned for you
So when you kiss me and I smile up at you
And you ask me what I’m smiling about
It’s as simple as saying how much I love you
