This is a quite imaginative and wondrous free verse poem, Joseph, filled with superb imagery and telling of the beauty that can be found simply by opening a window and looking around. A lot of folks are confined to the narrow lanes or rooms of their life, often too busy to pause and see the beauty of the world around them. This unique poem asks the reader to do just that, and wonderfully well, too. Carl.

Walls protect and narrow. Windows let fresh air in. Open your eyes and your heart, a brave new world is waiting outside. Thanks for the poem.

Outside a window there are nature and people. An old culture from the native land feeds a peaceful inspiration.

The hope and beauty in this poem are astounding. Your words have a comfort to them and a 'light' or fresh feeling to them. I enjoyed reading this piece very much.
