Liked the penultimate and ultimate stanzas that beautifully described how fleeting and invisible is the wind. So beautifully crafted and well executed write To my Poem List

A wonderful poem with superb imagery. It made me feel the gentle wind brushing up on my face. It expresses in beautiful detail the mysteries and wonderful attributes of one of the four elements; the wind.

I wished to cage it to enjoy its sweet company but like an apparition it disappeared into thin air. Estacy often disappears like a dream or like mirages. Thanks for sharing.

This poem has a delicately beautiful rhythm, quite haunting and the mirroring image of the tumbleweed. Very fine poem.

I have so missed reading your poems. No one uses imagery as masterfully as you! This poem was no exception - especially that first stanza~

The first stanza swept me up and delightfully led me to a giggle with the lover lifting the skirt leading to the invitation to dance. The joy and elusive nature of the wind culminating in a surprise seeming acknowledgment likened to a cheeky salute. Just loved it....10

That closing image is priceless: it shows that you cannot possess the wind, but the delight it gave you on this visitation will be repeated when it next CHOOSES to visit you. It can't be forced against its will, but you don't want that. You want to feel its free, unbounded generosity. All that it takes is your faith in its return, your readiness always to cross paths with it - in a word, H-O-P-E is what you must display. The wind takes care of everything else. Another sweet lyric from Valsa's abundant imagination.

A fantastic descriptive write from your poetic pen. Who wouldn't want to dance in this wind. For a poetic mind a windy day is just the thing. How it lifts up our spirits, how it pulls us from the mundane....wind definitely stirs our hearts n minds. A beautiful write that deserves a perfect 10.

Glad to hear this from you Dr. Saadat! No doubt you stand head and shoulders above me as a poet. Reading some of your earlier poems I used to wish if I could write like you! However I am so glad you liked my poem and thanks a lot!
