By the will of the king thousands will go into the abyss of darkness, but by the will of the people no king will be held accountable... Beautiful composer I have to point out, just the philosophy in it really makes one wonder...

Deeply philosophical poem on life. The last stanza is the gist of the poem where every creations of God flow from a single source. Very nicely crafted to make interesting reading. Congrats on being selected as poem of the day.10++

wow greatly crafted by words the unity of nature out of our sight- deep under earth, where all waters flow together, where all roots are entangled in one life, where we are all one immense soul, there, there is born Our Life Eternal. /// great poetic expression

We still live in a world of partial happiness. We still live in a world that a great king must protect. - - - We are all part of one humanity- And we still live in a world that a great king must protect. Congratulations Daniel Brick for this wonderful poem being chosen as the Poem of the Day!

Hi Daniel, Congratulations on being chosen for the Member Poet of the day. Yes this world needs a sympathetic King and Christmas is coming. I discovered a new Gospel from supposedly Christ's twin brother called the Gospel of Thomas. I still find much truth in the Words of Jesus but please bury the church. Hope all is well, Greetings, Paul

We are indeed One Immense Soul! And we shall see that clearly in The Life Eternal. Daniel, it makes me very happy that this is the Poem Of The Day! And even happier that it was written by you! Hearty Congratulations!

Daniel, I find this poem alluring, its imagery with both mystery and an invitation to mull on it. Is the willow the source for Yggdrasil? Interesting to me is that it, like the desert willow, like the cottonwood, will grow a new tree if a branch is cut and stuck in ground where it gets what it needs to rise. Hoping you’re well, brother, in body, soul, and spirit. -Glen
