This is one of the grandest in-the-defense-of-animals poems I have ever read. There is beauty, there is grandeur, there is pain, there is sorrow, there is arrogance, there is regret. The course of the hunt is so well-written that I feel I'm there, jumping over the fences, dodging logs and rocks.
