THE WIDENING DIVIDE IN SOCIETY

Our life journey is full of upheavals
In childhood for fantasy, in youth for dreams

In middle age for necessities and in old age for realities
Life is sum total of desires, dreams and of necessities

However the tough time might be life
It does pass, only tough people do survive

Life always demands sacrifice, there is no free lunch
Flowers bloom only after seeds are sown or buried

If you wish to gain success, efforts have to be put
your work should speak and not you; my friend

Do you know in the modern cities
There are three cities within a city

Of rich, middle class and poor
Each has different aspirations, and way of life

Widening gap in our society are reflections of our values
Does the slogan of inclusive development is the answer? ? ? ?
