I love the cadence of the first stanaza and its syntax. I thought at first it was some rival invading your little private kingdom despite the word 'flew' when to my surprise the visitor was a ladybird. This made the visitor more than welcome as the poem progressed. A wonderful technique.

Spring is in the air, and a ladybug went in my ear. I was a bit surprised to say the least... chuck
