The Weight Of Anger Poem by Innocent Meshack

The Weight Of Anger

Rating: 3.7

Anger shrouds my mind like a heavy fog
Clouding my vision with hate and revenge
My thoughts muddied with anger's mire
Drowning out all signs of serenity

Filled with hate
but not for anyone I can name
My thoughts run through my mind like wild horses
Trampling all reason and sanity
I blast music to silence the voices

All this hate within me
swirling like a storm that's all my own
My body is filled with scars,
a reminder of my imperfections

I wish I could disappear into thin air
Leaving behind this world of despair

A very vivid depiction of the weight of your anger. Some of us resonate with this poem but the emotion we feel is just temporary. There will be calmness. A poem well expressed.
