Marriage as LIFE IN A GROVE. That sounds like a Garden of Eden image of marriage. And that is too short a story to provide guidance for something as complex as the living together of two human beings.Did you know Mark Twain late in his career wrote a novel about Adam and Eve. It's satirical and irreverent, and very funny and moving. But it is definitely realistic and not fantasy. You suggest that the different paths envisioned by this couple will lead to troubles. Agreed. They have adjustments to make. But the photo of your parents at the beginning of their long marriage gives hope for the best. Or perhaps it's not your parents but just a couple of young people who can stand in for all such couples committing thmselves.

A lovely rhythm and flow to this poem. We need poets who will bring back the era of Romantic poetry. With poets like you, we will not be disappointed

This is an outstanding image of two people, man and woman, getting married in the Greek Orthodox Church: King and his Queen in marriage. A story framed by 60 years of life together. Congratulations to the parents and their daughter!
