A beautiful poem. I wonder how many thousands of poems are already written on the subject of love. But this haunting piece (with a touch of feeling similar to 'Wuthering Heights') with contrasting imagery and an unexpected ending convinces me that beautiful poems can still be written by a highly creative mind.

I celebrate my fiftieth wedding anniversay on th 20th of this month.Sometimes marriage is very hard.

This is a good poem. However whereas i did understand the message behind the poem, the flow of the poem was a little confusing. Think there were also a few issues with regard to diction.

the pain is still here with too much sadness and anger today may be the end tomorrow is never a fine.. ... the painful departure always upsets us and particularly on silver wedding anniversaaaary........10

Shame, hope it's not based on personal experience? If it is, my condolences. Love the contrasting flow of the poem and the end of it was just shocking (a good shock) . Grammatical structuring & use of words are very important. The idea behind the poem was wonderful. Good read.

A very very poignant piece, written with such love and emotion. Such angst and suffering. I felt a lot during this moving poem. Best Steve
