The last line is haunting, the weaver is trapped in a perpetual habit, in which there is little room to escape, if it stops weaving, then what is the function, the weavers meaning is their work, their profession is their substance.

A thread as strong as steel - wonderful line, could describe every hard working women in this world, whose work goes persistently painstaking at the expense of being appreciated. A weaver spends so much time crafting objects of value that they invest not only their lives but their very souls into their work, the fiber of their being is the fiber that holds the tapestry together.

It produces silk from itself A thread as strong as steel As it ornately weaves its web It secured a safety line Of its own And traps and wraps Its prey to survive......nice poetic expression. To survive is great matter. It is a beautiful poem with its nice essence. Thanks for sharing.

What a great tapestry maker Mother Nature must be! She arranges for fitting strands to be available when the little weavers do their work!
