The way up
Is always down
The way up
Is not the top

The only thing
That starts from top
Is the grave
That God gave
As a means
When life do stop
To place the remains
Of every man

The way up
Is always down
If a ladder
You try to climb
The way up
Is always down

As a man
When one is born
He must grow up and not down
If you want to reach the top
You must never stop
Or try to frown
at the way that life must go

To climb the top
Of the socail ladder
The way up is down
To become the best you want to be
The way up is down

It's from down that one goes up
For if you started from the top
My friend, you must stop
'cuz you are digging for your self a grave
No one gets to the top
Unless they first start from down

THE WAY UP
IS ALWAYS DOWN!
