The Way to the Father
God is Almighty, all power in His hand,
He speaks, and the seas obey His command.
Yet why did Jesus walk the earth as man,
Sharing our struggles, as part of His plan?
He let tyrants mock, and pierce, and deride,
Though Heaven's angels stood ready beside.
He could silence the storm with a single word,
Yet bore the cross—His love undeterred.
The reason for such mercy and grace,
Was to guide His people in every place.
To teach us values, pure and true,
To lead us in all that we should do.
For the path to the Father is narrow and bright,
Lit by His truth, His love, and His light.
Yes, Jesus is the way, the life, the door—
Through Him alone, we'll live evermore.
Bible Verse
"Jesus answered, ‘I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'"
— John 14: 6 (NIV)

Reflection
Jesus, though fully God, chose to walk among us in humility. He experienced hunger, pain, betrayal, and even death—not because He lacked power, but because He wanted to show us the path of love, sacrifice, and obedience. His life was a living example of God's heart toward humanity. By surrendering to the Father's will and embracing the cross, He showed us that true victory comes not through force, but through faithful love. To follow Him is to walk in the same humility, trusting that the road He leads us on ends in the presence of the Father.

Thank you for a powerful, profound hymn about the King of Kings! This poem resounds with majesty as it conveys the message of hope! Jesus lived a humbled life because he loves sinners and he died because of that love. Jesus is the true hero. He is the most selfless and humble King of all.
