The Way Of The Verse Comments

This is a wonderful paen to poetry and its highest quality which is spirituality. Not all poems aspire to such a spiritual quality. Some poems are content to fly in a straight line and hug the contours of thr ground. But for those poems which do so aspire your poem acknowledges their commitment. I especially like the four images which bring closure at the end. REACH THE HEART and NEVER DIE are familiar aspects. But I also like the journey and discovery motifs implied in the middle aspects. Sky and Sea represent alien environments because we don't live in them, so they can be symbolic of our aspirations and a measure of our achievmentrs.
